March is International Women’s Month, a time dedicated to celebrating the strong, powerful women who have shaped the world around us. One such woman is Susan Springsteen, a trailblazer in the field of sustainability and innovation. Susan Springsteen is the founder and CEO of H2O Connected, a company dedicated to developing and manufacturing multi-patented devices that detect, diagnose, alert, and quantify water-wasting issues with tank-toilets. Her groundbreaking work helps property owners conserve water and reduce costs—a pressing need in today’s world. As you can imagine, founding and running a company like H2O Connected is no small feat. It requires

determination, resilience, and an unwavering belief in the mission. In moments of challenge, Susan draws strength from a simple yet powerful reminder: "just do the next thing." This mindset is something we can all relate to. 

Another outstanding woman making waves in our industry is Christine Malfair, the Hotel CMO at Malfair Marketing. Christine has helped countless hotels streamline their marketing strategies, replacing complexity and high costs with simple, smart approaches that ultimately lead to filling more rooms. Her guiding philosophy, “There is no fear when the mission to serve is clear,” keeps her grounded during the toughest times and serves as a beacon of leadership.

Next up we have the amazing Lovell Casiero, Senior Vice President of Commercial Strategies at PM Hotel Group. Lovell leads a dynamic and talented team, excelling in hospitality sales, marketing, and revenue optimization. Under her guidance, the team drives the company’s goals, objectives, and core values, successfully supporting a diverse portfolio of 92 hotels. Her leadership proves that strength and collaboration are vital to thriving in the competitive world of hospitality.

And of course, we couldn’t let Women’s History Month pass without honoring one of our own incredible leaders here at Affixify: Stephanie Trussell, our Chief Operating Officer. As a start-up founder, Stephanie wears many hats, handling everything from operations to strategy with remarkable grace, compassion, and determination. Her relentless drive and leadership are a true inspiration to us all.
